Pizza-topping Sausage

Pizza toppings are probably the most important ingredient, after the dough and the sauce.  At any rate, it's the most fun!  Use this recipe as your guide to making a great, homemade, sausage topping.


Start a large skillet over medium heat.  Add the meat, breaking it apart as it begins to brown.  After several minutes, add the rest of the ingredients and mix.  Continue to stir until completely brown.

Remember to use the meat and not the grease.  A slotted spoon to scoop out the sausage will do that nicely.
