Hummus

First, let's get this right.  What looks like "hummus" is pronounced, "Chew-moose", and not 'who-miss' or 'hum-miss'!

The following recipe is probably the simplest and tastiest hummus you'll be able to find unless you're into driving your camel down to the Kasbah.

Ingredients:

• 2 cloves garlic
• 1 (19 ounces) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
• 2/3 cup olive oil
• 1/2 cup Tahini (sesame paste or butter)
• 4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon cumin

Optional Garnishes:

• garnish
• cumin
• parsley
• olive oil
• paprika

Directions:

Whirl in a food processor (or do it by hand) and add any or all of the garnishes.
