A simple, elegant sauce perfect for Beef Wellington as well as other meats.
Ingredients:
Melt butter in a saucepan and stir in flour with a whisk. Bring to a light golden brown. Stir in beef stock until smooth. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for at least 5 more minutes. Remove the bay leaf and clove before serving. Good with most any meat, and especially so with Beef Wellington.
