Apple Crisp

Ingredients:

Lightly oil a 9X13 pan.  Place apples in pan.  Sprinkle with lemon juice.  Drizzle with 2 tbsp. honey and sprinkle with 1/2 tsp. cinnamon.

Mix remaining spices with oatmeal, flour, wheat germ, remaining honey and nuts until crumbly.  Sprinkle over apples.  Bake at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until apples are soft.

Serve warm/hot all by itself, or with whipped cream, sour cream, or yogurt.

NB: Great for pot lucks, breakfast or brunch buffets. You may vary this recipe by adding more or less honey, adding pears or chopped cranberries to the apples, using peaches and pecans instead of apples and walnuts, or varying the spices used.
